What's new on Classcraft

With the new experience, we’ve added a new character class with no powers of their own in Chapter 2 and enabled teachers to use Classcraft without any student accounts or characters. This created a ripple effect throughout the app and many issues needed to be addressed.

We’re still tracking issues related to account logins and permissions, how characters work throughout the chapters, etc.

Let's have a look at some things we’ve fixed lately 🕵️

• Google Classroom was found to not work properly but can now be used again to create a class’ student list
• We made sure that year after year, students who are not in an organization could reuse the same credentials to log in and create a character
• Ensured that when a character is archived while having no character class, it’s still visible in the Hall of Heroes
• Fixed an issue where parents of children in the new experience could not log in
• Made sure that the Select character button is not displayed for parents or other students
